Mr. Walsh serves as lead analyst for a group of companies within our equity composites. He researches and analyzes companies from varied industries. Mr. Walsh performs a broad range of portfolio management functions including the review of positions and cash versus their targets, and then rebalances portfolios appropriately. Emmett is also involved in the trading of equity securities.
Prior to joining Barrington, Mr. Walsh worked on the operations desk at Zacks Investment Management in Chicago. While there, Emmett acted as the main point of contact for more than 20 Investment Representatives across the country. Prior to that, he worked for RNA Trading at the Chicago Board of Trade where he clerked for 10-year Treasury Note options traders as well as traded 10 and 30-year US Treasury Futures.
Mr. Walsh resides in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago.
