Mr. Woeppel serves as lead analyst for a group of companies within our equity composites. He researches, analyzes, and reports on a broad universe of equity securities. In addition, he assists with client level allocations and the trading of equity securities.
Prior to joining Barrington, Michael was employed at Hewitt Associates as a Benefits Analyst where he was involved with pension plan calculations, formulas and research. Prior to that, he was employed as an Economics Research Assistant Intern with Astor Asset Management. At Astor, Michael performed stress tests for securities to be added for trading in the firm’s hedge fund as well as conducting detailed economic research for a book discussing the recent economic downturn.
Mr. Woeppel resides in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago.
